I’m Adam Miller — better known as Old House Adam. I’ve spent the last 15 years breathing new life into historic homes across North Carolina. What started as trading rent for repairs in my wife’s childhood home has grown into a passion, a business, and a mission: preserving history while building homes that last.

As the founder of Old House Builders and co-host of Old House Revival, I specialize in craftsmanship that blends historic character with modern living. From saving houses destined for demolition to designing new homes with timeless style, my work is about more than lumber and nails — it’s about legacy, community, and creating spaces that feel like they’ve always belonged.

My projects have been featured by Magnolia Network, Southern Living, Dwell, Realtor.com, Business Insider, and more, and I’ve built a community of over 2 million people who follow my work online. But what I value most is the trust of families who invite me to build or restore the place they’ll call home.

When I’m not on a job site, you’ll find me cooking for my wife and five kids, painting, or working on my own old house in Concord, NC. Whether restoring a century-old porch or framing a brand-new cottage, my goal is the same: to create homes that will be loved for generations.
